Job description

A partner of The Mom Project in the automotive industry is seeking a contract Assistant Website Manager to help support their business needs. A partner of The Mom Project in the automotive industry is seeking a contract Full-Stack Developer to help support their business needs.


This role will contribute across the stack—from fine-tuning user experiences to enabling seamless system integrations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on technical environment, enjoys solving practical problems, and values clear written communication and collaboration.



Responsibilities:

  • Make incremental UX/UI improvements across internal applications
  • Support backend development, including system integrations and database connectivity
  • Implement and troubleshoot multi-factor authentication (MFA) using a centralized directory
  • Write, optimize, and maintain queries to expose data across systems
  • Deploy and configure off-the-shelf applications in a corporate IT environment
  • Debug and test applications locally using real-world scenarios
  • Perform thorough integration testing to support reliable production releases
  • Document requirements gaps, edge cases, and assumptions proactively
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and IT teams to deliver solutions


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience developing applications and user interfaces through coursework, internships, or personal projects
  • Familiarity with full-stack development using React, Go, Node.js, Python, and SQL-based databases
  • Experience navigating large codebases using GitHub,including branches, pull requests, and code reviews
  • Ability to use code search tools to understand system behavior and dependencies
  • Experience deploying applications in corporate or enterprise environments
  • Understanding of centralized authentication systems and MFA
  • Comfort with local development, debugging, and integration testing workflows
  • Strong written communication and organizational skills
  • Proactive approach to documenting open questions and clarifying requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with REST APIs, GraphQL, or low-code tools such as Retool
  • Basic knowledge of enterprise identity protocols, including SAML and OAuth2
  • Leadership experience with examples of building teams and strong working relationships
  • Background in engineering or technical disciplines, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills
  • Exposure to operational or manufacturing systems and an understanding of technical processes
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems such as Maximo or Kronos



Hours and Location:

  • Monday - Friday, 40 hours/week
  • 100% remote
