Job description

Our Customer is an American worldwise clothing and accessories retailer, founded in 1969. Over the last 50 years, the company has grown from a single store to a global fashion business with seven brands. Their clothes are availabile in 90 countries worldwide through over 3,100 company-operated stores, almost 400 franchise stores, and e-commerce sites and is still growing.


We are seeking a Full Stack Developer on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is on-site in San Francisco, CA.


The Full Stack Developer will provide development and operational support for a custom web-based workflow solution supporting photo studio operations. This role involves maintaining and enhancing both front-end and back-end components, resolving technical issues, and developing new features to improve functionality and user experience.



Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and development solutions for photo studio operations.
  • Execute bug fixes in stored procedures, jobs, triggers, views, and functions.
  • Enhance and maintain existing system functionalities to optimize performance.
  • Design, develop, and implement new features and solutions to meet operational needs.
  • Collaborate with leadership and team members to deliver high-quality software improvements.
  • Manage feature rollouts and updates, ensuring alignment with project timelines.
  • Apply process improvements to enhance overall workflow efficiency.
  • Maintain clear documentation of code, updates, and implementations.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience developing and maintaining web-based applications.
  • Proficiency in Python, Django, REST API, HTML, Bootstrap CSS, JavaScript, React, Next.js, and PostgreSQL.
  • Strong understanding of front-end and back-end web development principles.
  • Experience executing bug fixes, implementing enhancements, and developing new features.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative software development practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to process large amounts of information and apply it effectively.
  • Experience with desktop support is a plus
  • Strong work ethic and accountability.
  • Effective time management and productivity self-monitoring.
  • Professional and honest approach with a commitment to excellence.
