They later branched out to other services, which is now a multinational professional services network with offices in over 150 countries and territories around the world. With more than 100,000 professionals, they provide audit and assurance, tax, consulting, and risk and financial advisory services to a broad cross-section of the largest corporations and governmental agencies.
We are seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote.
As a Full-stack Software Engineer, you will actively engage in your engineering craft, taking a hands-on approach to multiple high-visibility projects. Your expertise will be pivotal in delivering solutions that delight customers and users, while also driving tangible value for the business investments. You will leverage your extensive engineering craftmanship across multiple programming languages and modern frameworks, consistently demonstrating your strong track record in delivering high-quality, outcome-focused solutions. The ideal candidate will be a dependable team player, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy advanced software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Drive accountability for customer and business outcomes by developing high-quality engineering solutions to complex problems
- Serve as a technical advocate, ensuring code integrity, feasibility, and alignment with business and customer goals
- Lead requirement analysis, component design, development, unit testing, integrations, and ongoing support
- Maintain ownership of code design, implementation, quality, data integrity, and system maintenance
- Create technical specifications and deliver scalable, maintainable, and high-quality code aligned with performance KPIs
- Apply continuous learning to adopt new technologies, frameworks, and engineering practices
- Develop customer-centric solutions through rapid experimentation and iterative delivery
- Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle to ensure timely and effective solutions
- Deliver solutions using incremental and iterative approaches, prioritizing efficiency and adaptability
- Work cross-functionally with product, design, and delivery teams to balance feasibility, usability, and business value
- Apply Agile and DevSecOps practices to support automated deployments and full SDLC lifecycle execution
- Translate business requirements, architecture, and UX/UI designs into technical solutions
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and influence stakeholders through data-driven insights
- Foster collaboration and co-creation across teams to drive alignment, innovation, and shared outcomes
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Strong foundation in object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, and clean coding practices
- 5+ years of experience with technologies such as Angular, React, Python, C#, .NET Core, SQL, and NoSQL
- 5+ years of experience in cloud-native engineering, particularly within Azure environments using microservices, FaaS, or PaaS
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and engineering practices including DevSecOps, SRE, XP, Lean, and SAFe
- Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, SonarQube, and similar platforms
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex projects and changing priorities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with AI/ML or Generative AI technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
