Job description

Description

At our Client, life really does taste better outside. They’re a premium lifestyle brand built around one simple idea: bringing people together to cook over live fire isn’t just about food, it’s about connection. For more than 51 years, they’ve helped people turn meals into memories, and yes, they also happen to make the best Kamado grill on the planet.

Their team is made up of smart, curious, food-loving people who take their work seriously but not themselves. Each week, they host a Lunch & Learn that’s part cooking lesson, part team hangout, and part excuse to eat something incredible.

They offer competitive pay, strong benefits, a 401(k) match, employee discounts, and annual incentives. You’ll start with three weeks of PTO, plus paid holidays and a floating day off.

As they continue to grow, they’re looking for people who are passionate about great food, good company, and making life taste better outside.

As the our client's Developer, you will take ownership of their website, playing a critical role in building out, optimizing, and reporting on the eCommerce experience as part of the Omnichannel Team. You’ll utilize a combination of coding and no-code solutions to develop and implement new features while ensuring a seamless user experience. Collaborating with leadership and cross-functional teams, you will integrate and maintain advanced technical tools, third-party APIs and AI-driven features to elevate functionality across all channels. With a focus on data security, compliance, and customer-centric strategies, you will stay up to date on emerging web technologies and SEO best practices, applying these insights to enhance visibility, site performance, and user engagement. Your role will involve troubleshooting technical issues to ensure smooth site operation, building out additional pages on the site, and testing and reporting back on innovative strategies for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage website operations to build out pages and to implement, test, and enhance eCommerce features and functionalities.
  • Seamlessly integrate and maintain marketing tools, third-party APIs, applications, and AI-driven technologies.
  • Execute and report on advanced SEO strategies, including keyword research, meta tag optimization, and techniques to boost visibility, site speed, and user experience.
  • Run A/B tests and utilize Heatmapping to optimize the customer experience.
  • Uphold data security and ensure compliance with industry standards in all integrations.
  • Proactively research and stay ahead of industry trends and new technologies to provide innovative recommendations.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues with speed and precision to optimize user experience.
  • Partner effectively with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, to build pages, implement disruptive strategies, and provide regular updates on website improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 4+ years of web development experience, with a strong focus on integrating technical solutions, third-party APIs, and applications.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience working with Shopify Plus websites, including customization and optimization.
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript Frameworks, and backend development, along with practical application of GA4, Search Console, and Tag Manager; experience with databases, like SQL, as well as Server-Side Frameworks is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of SEO principles and tools like Search Console and SEMrush
  • Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Proven track record of working collaboratively in fast-paced, dynamic environments and adapting to shifting priorities.
  • Familiarity with design tools like Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator is a plus.
