Our client is a small team of 5 building what they think is the future of patient engagement for healthcare practices.

Our entire founding team spent the last 3.5 years working together, leading consumer and growth products at Carbon Health before starting this new healthcare AI company in April of this year. Since closing our seed round in the beginning of April, we have been heads down building and have a working v0, first signed customer (12 location medical chain), and a pipeline of dozens more healthcare practices that are asking to use our products.

As one of the earliest fullstack software engineers on our team, you’ll be responsible for a lot of surface area and be working on very cool products from the ground up. Here’s some of the stuff you’ll be working on:

• Real-Time Audio AI Agent: Work on our real-time audio AI agent using LLMs, TTS, SST, and VAD, and enhance tool integrations with our API.

• Configuration Platform: Develop a platform that enables solutions engineers to customize the AI agent for each client’s needs.

• Contact Center Software: Design and implement contact center software that integrates seamlessly with our AI agent, providing essential tools for our human agents.

• Real-Time Streaming and Analytics: Manage real-time streaming, recording, transcription, and AI summaries. Develop an analytics dashboard to display metrics, statistics, and interactions for clients.

• Feature Development: Lead the development of new features from inception to deployment, ensuring high-quality and efficient implementation.

• Tech Stack: Python, FastAPI, TypeScript, NextJS, Postgres, and LiveKit to build robust and scalable solutions.

We ship software at an incredibly fast velocity and we’re looking for someone who wants to be challenged to keep up. This is a full stack engineering role with a heavier backend focus. We’d love to work with someone who has worked with startups previously.

Beyond just your experience and ability to write code, we’re looking for someone who is genuinely excited about what we’re building and making a dent on the future of healthcare. If you’re not a self-starter, uncomfortable with priorities shifting, and need a lot of direction and detailed scope, do not apply for the role.

Much of what we’re working on is brand new as the AI audio technology only got good enough to build an entire company around in the last 6 months. But that’s why this so exciting – you get to work with an incredibly talented team that moves fast.

The salary range is $165k-$180k + equity + health benefits.
