We are looking for a Resource Management Associate on a contract basis who can help support our client’s business needs. This role is 100% remote.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years in of relevant experience supporting Talent Aquisition through a Vendor Management System
- Resource Management, Recruiting for Finance /Accounting professionals, or client service delivery experience; preferably within a professional services firm or similar environment
- Strong technical skills, and the ability to multi-task and appropriately set/manage priorities
- Ability to develop working relationships with various levels of an organization
- Capacity to organize and manage large quantities of data
- Proficient in using project management and resource planning tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Intermediate Excel (Pivots, V-Lookup). Data Analysis experience a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing competing priorities and meeting tight deadlines
- Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to anticipate and address resource challenges or conflicts
- Knowledge of consulting industry dynamics and business models is preferred. Prior Big 4 consulting experience is a bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with advisory team leads to understand project requirements and resource needs.
- Identify and allocate the most suitable resources based on skill sets, availability, and workload capacity to ensure effective project delivery and client satisfaction;
- Develop and manage resource plans, taking into consideration project timelines, resource availability, and business priorities. Continuously monitor resource utilization and anticipate potential bottlenecks or conflicts, proactively taking necessary actions to mitigate risks;
- Regularly analyze team and individual workloads, identifying opportunities to balance or redistribute workload to optimize efficiency and employee satisfaction. Coordinate with recruitment and talent management teams to address resource gaps and requirements;
- Collaborate with advisory teams and finance department to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of project-related time and expenses. Monitor adherence to billing guidelines and assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues;
- Act as a point of contact and liaison between advisory teams, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure clear communication channels for resource planning, allocation, and changes. Facilitate discussions and negotiations to resolve conflicts or challenges related to resource availability or allocation;
- Help in the design and delivery of various staffing strategies and initiatives related to the Advisory Resource Management business objectives;
- Utilize Resource Management system and tools to efficiently generate analysis and reporting of key Resource Management data;
- Help to ensure scheduling policies and procedures are followed and proactively work with RM network and leadership team to identify scheduling conflicts and trends;
- Collaborate with other internal groups such as Finance and Accounting, Human Resources, Global Mobility, Learning and Development, Campus and Experienced Hire Recruiting to further Advisory Resource Management initiatives
- Work with resource management colleagues and functional leaders to develop and implement onboarding and staffing services that effectively utilize and provide career opportunities to functional professionals;
- Become a known and reliable resource for client facing professionals;
- Participate in practice-wide strategic initiatives and projects in support of resource management strategy, which will include the assignment of resources to projects based on standard protocols;
- Build strong relationships with client-facing professionals to become a known and reliable resource that understands both the development needs and assignment preferences of these individuals and can make client assignment decisions that balance development, business and personal needs;
- Develop and implement staffing strategies;
- Utilize Resource Management systems to generate analysis and reporting of key staffing data including, headcount, utilization, attrition, and engagement leveraging;
- Act as the day-to-day contact for managers and staff regarding general firm and resource topics
