Job description

About Us:

We are a growing private real estate investment firm managing a series of funds focused on value-driven opportunities. Our team is collaborative, detail-oriented, and passionate about building long-term partnerships with our investors. As we grow, we are seeking a smart, reliable, and experienced Fund Operations Associate to support the day-to-day and long-term success of our fund operations.

Position Overview:

This is a part-time, remote position (with flexibility) ideal for a professional with deep experience in finance, accounting, and operations within the real estate investment space. You’ll work closely with our leadership team to help manage all aspects of fund administration and investor reporting. The role offers the opportunity to expand responsibilities over time and could grow into a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support overall fund operations and ensure smooth daily functioning
  2. Coordinate with fund administrators to manage capital calls, distributions, NAVs, and reporting
  3. Assist with quarterly and annual investor reporting, including performance summaries and financials
  4. Help oversee annual audit and tax preparation processes with external accountants and auditors
  5. Review and maintain fund and investor documentation
  6. Support onboarding of new investors, including subscription document review and compliance checks
  7. Help maintain strong internal processes and controls to meet SEC and LP compliance expectations

Qualifications:

  1. Master’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
  2. 5+ years of experience in fund operations, fund accounting, or fund administration, ideally in a private real estate or private equity environment
  3. Strong understanding of fund structures, investor reporting, and compliance
  4. Experience working with third-party fund administrators and auditors
  5. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
  6. Comfortable working independently in a remote setting with limited supervision
  7. Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset

Bonus Points:

  1. CPA or public accounting background
  2. Experience with fund subscription platforms and investor portals

Why Join Us:

  1. Flexibility: Work part-time on your schedule with potential for growth
  2. Impact: Contribute meaningfully to the success of a growing fund platform
  3. Community: Join a values-driven, tight-knit team with regular in-person meetups and opportunities to connect beyond the screen
