Gen AI Developer / AI Developer

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gen AI Developer or AI Developer to join a leading enterprise client. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining AI/ML models at an enterprise scale, with a focus on model serving, evaluation, and automated testing. This is a permanent position based in Houston, TX, with the potential to make a significant impact in building AI-driven platforms.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy large-scale AI/ML models, with a focus on Generative AI solutions.
• Lead the design and implementation of model serving infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance.
• Perform model evaluation, continuous monitoring, and automated testing to ensure robustness and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI models into existing enterprise systems and platforms.
• Continuously optimize model pipelines for both accuracy and efficiency, leveraging state-of-the-art techniques.
• Provide expertise in the full lifecycle of AI models, including data preprocessing, training, validation, and production deployment.
• Mentor junior AI developers and work closely with architects, PMs, and other team members to deliver enterprise-grade AI solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI/ML, especially in the Generative AI domain, and apply them to improve the platform.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in AI/ML model development, with a strong focus on Generative AI.
• Proven experience in building, deploying, and managing AI models in enterprise environments.
• Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar AI/ML frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with model serving platforms like TensorFlow Serving, MLflow, or custom enterprise solutions.
• Strong understanding of model evaluation metrics, A/B testing, and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP for AI/ML model deployment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Based in Houston, TX, or willing to relocate.

• Experience with large language models (LLMs) and transformer-based architectures.
• Familiarity with MLOps practices for automating and streamlining AI/ML pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of API development and integration.
• Experience working in industries such as finance, healthcare, or manufacturing, where AI can drive digital transformation.
