Job description

Our Customer is a leading global, diversified information, services and media company with more than 360 businesses. Its major interests include various financial services, medical information and services businesses, and lastly, ownership in cable television networks; 33 television stations; 24 daily and 52 weekly newspapers; digital services businesses; and nearly 250 magazines around the world.


Our Customer is seeking a Generative AI Training and Support Specialist on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is hybrid (3 days on-site and 2 days remote/week) in NYC.


Reporting to the Sr. Manager of User Engagement, Education & Tech Academy, the candidate will be responsible for designing, delivering, and supporting generative AI training and enablement programs for employees across the enterprise. This individual will partner closely with platform administrators, a team of existing facilitators, and other stakeholders to ensure employees are fully supported on generative AI tools.



Responsibilities:

  • Design and facilitate live and on-demand training on generative AI tools, including ChatGPT Enterprise, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and similar platforms
  • Develop and deliver training on AI coding assistants, including Claude Code and OpenAI Codex
  • Create learning materials, including guides, job aids, videos, and other training resources for users with varying levels of AI experience
  • Support AI Champions community programs and other technical training initiatives
  • Serve as a resource for employee questions related to AI tools, use cases, and responsible AI practices
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure training aligns with organizational AI policies and data privacy requirements
  • Track training participation, learner feedback, and engagement metrics to improve training effectiveness
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to stay current on AI tools and identify new learning opportunities


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Adult Education, Instructional Design, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in training, instructional design, adult education, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code and OpenAI Codex
  • Experience designing and delivering live, virtual, in-person, and on-demand training
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Strong documentation, organizational, and project management skills
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook, and Microsoft 365
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work onsite in New York City three days per week, including Tuesdays

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience training others on generative AI tools
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Familiarity with responsible AI principles and data privacy best practices
