Job description

Our customer is a global provider of information-based analytics and decision tools for professional and business customers. They help researchers make new discoveries, doctors and nurses improve the lives of patients, and lawyers develop winning strategies. They prevent online fraud and money laundering and help insurance companies evaluate and predict risk. Their events combine in-person and digital experiences to help customers learn about markets, source products, and complete transactions. In short, they enable customers to make better decisions, get better results and be more productive.


We are seeking an experienced contract Georgia Trusts & Estates Attorney with at least 5 years’ experience in estate planning and probate proceedings to draft and annotate practical guidance and forms for an online legal product for attorneys. The attorney will revise and edit existing documents and draft new content as needed. This role is 100% remote in the state of Georgia.


Part-time, 5-15 hours/week

Responsibilities:

  • Draft and annotate pleadings and documents related to probate and estate administration
  • Create, review, and revise practical guidance content on Trusts & Estates topics
  • Develop checklists, charts, and “how-to” materials to support legal practitioners
  • Enhance and localize content with Georgia-specific guidance based on state laws and legal practices
  • Conduct legal research to ensure the accuracy and relevance of all materials
  • Collaborate with internal teams to maintain high-quality, up-to-date legal content
  • Manage multiple assignments and deliver high-quality work within established deadlines


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Law degree from an accredited law school
  • Active membership in good standing with the Georgia State Bar
  • 5+ years of experience practicing Trusts & Estates law
  • Strong experience drafting estate planning documents and probate-related pleadings
  • Excellent legal writing, editing, and research skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, including track changes, and online legal research tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
