Job description

The Mom Project is excited to support Etsy with their search for a Global Merchandising Coordinator, Core Markets to join them on a contract basis.



About The Role


Etsy is seeking a Site Merchandising Coordinator to join our Global Merchandising Team on a 6-month contract. This role will focus on executing merchandising plans to drive core market and category growth by creating and maintaining localized site experiences, including landing pages and site programming, specifically for the UK and DE markets. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creative, and has a passion for e-commerce.



Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain localized landing pages and site programming for the UK and DE markets using Contentful and other CMS tools.
  • Source inventory for landing pages and promotional campaigns that are locally relevant, aligned with category guidance, brand and marketing campaign priorities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product, and Engineering to ensure seamless execution of site merchandising strategies.
  • Analyze market trends and buyer behavior to inform the creation of relevant and engaging content for localized landing pages.
  • Ensure all localized content is translated accurately and reflects local cultural nuances and preferences.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of localized landing pages, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Support the execution of promotional campaigns and seasonal events tailored to the UK and DE markets.
  • Closely partner with Email & Push Marketing Team to coordinate offsite to onsite message and content cohesion, supporting channel needs for landing pages and product curation
  • Maintain a calendar of site updates and ensure timely refreshes of content to keep the site experience fresh and engaging.
  • Work on ad hoc merchandising-related initiatives as new priorities arise



Qualifications:


Must-Haves

  • 2+ years of experience in site merchandising, e-commerce, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of the UK and DE markets, including cultural and shopping preferences.
  • Proficiency with CMS tools, preferably Contentful.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to work independently as a self-starter, taking initiative and driving product forward.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
  • You are passionate about creating engaging and relevant online shopping experiences.
  • You have a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of aesthetics.
  • You are proactive and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • You are adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Hours and Location

  • Monday - Friday, 40 hours/week
  • Remote or Hybrid (3 days onsite and 2 days remote/week) in Brooklyn, NY
