Job description

Our Customer is an American financial services and digital payments company based in San Francisco, California. They’re working to help their diverse audiences — sellers, individuals, artists, fans, developers, and all the people in between — overcome barriers to access the economy.

We are seeking a Global Mobility and Immigration Specialist on a contract basis who will support the Customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote.

This role will provide front line operational support for the Global Mobility and Immigration (GM&I) team.

What You'll Do:

  • Support global mobility and immigration tasks as assigned
  • Triage team emails and Slack channel communication as it pertains to country-specific immigration information, assessments, and program policy questions
  • Audit flow of immigration data through systems integration for accuracy (SmartRecruiters, Workday, Equus, vendor platforms)
  • Conduct global mobility case audits to ensure requirements are fulfilled prior to use of the program
  • Help ensure use of the mobility program is compliant with all internal controls
  • Research and assess facts to determine their impact on the program.
  • Review and audit invoices and billing as assigned
  • Schedule meetings, trainings, webinars
  • Support immigration-specific audit requests, filing notices, company registrations, and collection of various legal documents for global immigration filings
  • Update online content material, handbooks, process documentation, etc. as assigned
  • Obtain and provide requested company data to the immigration provider
  • Complete company administrative tasks for US immigration: F-1 Form I-983 signatory, CPT letter requests, PERM recruitment, return flight home offers
  • Assist with global immigration reimbursement process

Must-haves:
  • Minimum 2-4 years of Global Mobility & Immigration experience with emphasis on US immigration desired
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Solutions-driven, growth mindset and customer-service focused
  • Ability to prioritize work, manage competing deadlines
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following is desired: Google Suite, Equus, Greenhouse, HRIS systems such as Workday, and ticketing systems such as JIRA a plus
  • Familiarity with US Immigration processes, specifically understanding of US Perm Processes, F-1 training obligations, and various posting obligations associated with US immigration, etc.
