Job description

We are looking for a Global Supply Chain Business Analyst on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is a hybrid setup (3 days onsite and 2 days remote/week) in Atlanta, GA.

The Business Analyst will be responsible for global data repositories and scaling established tools in different parts of the world to harmonize data and improve operations. The Business Analyst will work with supply chain teams from around the world to gather, analyze, validate, and communicate data. The BA could be expected to calculate results, publish metrics and scorecards, and/or develop new metrics as needed for their assigned department.



Responsibilities:

  • Gather periodic data as need (daily, weekly, monthly, etc) to business requirement
  • Perform data quality checks
  • Organize data into prescribed metrics, dashboards, and/or scorecards for the business owners/leaders
  • Produce charts & graphs or other analysis for the purpose of creating insights or isolating important factors
  • Organize data results into easily understood and digestible communications for the business owners/leaders or frontline workers.
  • Forecast future results based on history and other business factors
  • Conducts Research and Analysis; Works with others to research stakeholders' and key data attributes for reporting and forecasting


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience (required)
  • 1-2 years of related or relevant experience
  • Advanced technical ability with Microsoft Office suite, Excel in particular
  • Experience with Power BI, Anaplan, and tools is preferred
  • Good knowledge of business math and algebra for purpose of metrics design and calculations
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or related field –Preferred
  • Proven experience MS Excel and/or Data Management software
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
