Job description

Senior Designer / Social Media Manager

Location: Charleston, SC

1099 Project - 3 months to start

Part-Time

Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in the industry

Overview: The Senior Designer is responsible for leading and executing design projects, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the creative vision is realized. They will leverage their expertise in design principles and use brand guidelines and analytic data to further business objectives and elevate brand experiences.

As Social Media Manager, they will also manage our company image across our social platforms in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead in executing the design process across multiple projects, maintaining a cohesive vision and ensuring consistency in branding and messaging throughout digital and print collateral - email, digital assets, ad assets, social content, internal/external brochures and presentations and dealer support.

· Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including e-commerce, marketing and product development to translate business requirements into effective design solutions.

· Conceptualize and develop innovative designs that resonate with the target audience.

· Execute wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.

· Prepare and defend design concepts and deliverables to stakeholders, incorporating feedback and iterating on designs.

· Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, continuously bringing new ideas and technologies to the team.

· Schedule, manage & maintain social content based on a monthly social calendar.

· Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.

· Engage with our followers as they interact with our social profiles.

Skills and Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.

· Proven experience (5+ years) as a Senior Designer or similar role in a creative agency or in-house team.

· Strong portfolio showcasing creative and innovative design solutions across various platforms (digital, print, web, etc.).

· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools.

· Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.

· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
