Job description

Our Customer was founded in 1982 in an effort to create a solid accounting firm headed by native professionals. They later branched out to other services, which is now a multinational professional services network with offices in over 150 countries and territories around the world. With more than 100,000 professionals, they provide audit and assurance, tax, consulting, and risk and financial advisory services to a broad cross-section of the largest corporations and governmental agencies.

We are seeking a contract Growth and Development (G&D) Portfolio and PMO Support to help support Talent transformation projects from both a systems and process perspective. This role is 100% remote.


Responsibilities:

  • Support the design and implementation of critical talent technologies
  • Coordinate with the Talent process owners and subject matter advisors to ensure the appropriate Talent representation is included in preparation, design and testing workshops
  • Manage the user acceptance testing process - including reviewing test materials, identifying and tracking tester resources and test completion status, reporting and reviewing testing results
  • Support design workshops and other planning sessions to ensure that system configurations, process designs, and testing plans meet the talent business owners’ needs
  • Track and drive closure of action items and open decisions
  • Schedule follow up calls, take notes, and distribute action items from discussions
  • Coordinate with Talent process owners and subject matter advisors to manage change requests and risks, actions, and decisions
  • Coordinate across Talent, Technology, and Consulting teams to track and escalate issues as appropriate and ensure project deliverables move forward
  • Update the Talent project plan items, resource tracker and the risks, actions and decisions log as needed
  • Leverage shared project team site and OneNote notebook to ensure structure and access to communications, materials, and documents for all project team members
  • Create project plans and related resource plans and present to leadership.
  • Manage teams to execute projects leading to timely delivery, quality, and compliance with the project's scope.
  • Develop key messages and communicate around project updates to leader.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and performance consultants.
  • May be asked to assist in the development of learning materials associated with the project including instructor guides, participant guides, hands-on activities, handouts, diagrams and pictures, job aids and self-study materials.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong project management skills
  • Background and experience with project management support to implement Talent processes, from ideation through deployment phases
  • Strong written/verbal executive communication and presentation skills; strong listening, facilitation and influencing skills with audiences of all management and leadership levels
  • Problem solving skills and consultative approach with an ability to collaborate with team members on best practices
  • Ability to collaborate with a team
  • Works well in a dynamic, complex, client, and team focused environment with minimal oversight and an agile mindset
  • Excited by prospect of working in a developing, ambiguous, and challenging situation
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Word, Teams)
  • Knowledge of the professional services industry is preferred
