Job description

Marketing Manager – Digital (SEO/SEM/GEO, Social & Paid)

Part-Time Contractor | Remote

About the Role

We're an early-stage DTC startup looking for a talented, execution-focused Marketing Manager to help bring our digital marketing vision to life. Working directly alongside our founding team and reporting to our marketing lead, you'll play a key role in turning strategy into results — managing and optimizing our digital channels with creativity, precision, and a growth mindset.

This is a high-visibility role with real impact. You won't just be executing tasks — you'll be a trusted partner in growing our brand, with room to contribute ideas and help shape how we show up across every touchpoint.

Responsibilities

Manage and optimize digital marketing programs across SEO/SEM/GEO, paid search, and paid social (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, etc.) in alignment with overall marketing strategy

Manage day-to-day campaign performance — monitoring, testing, and iterating to improve CAC and ROAS

Own keyword research, on-page SEO/GEO optimization, and link-building efforts to steadily grow our organic and AI-driven search presence

Collaborate closely with the creative team to brief and iterate on ad creatives and content assets.

Track, analyze, and report on channel performance — surfacing insights and recommendations to the marketing lead

Support the expansion of marketing efforts into new channels over time, which may include email, experiential, conferences, and beyond

Stay current on platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging digital trends — bringing relevant

opportunities to the table

Qualifications

3–5 years of digital marketing experience, ideally in a DTC or e-commerce environment

Proven hands-on experience running SEO/SEM and paid advertising campaigns with measurable results

Proficiency with tools such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, SEMrush (or Ahrefs), and Meta Ads

Manager

Strong analytical mindset — able to interpret performance data and translate it into clear

recommendations

A creative eye and genuine appreciation for brand — you understand that great marketing is both science

and art

Highly self-directed and comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup environment with minimal hand-

holding

Strong communicator who can work collaboratively and proactively with a small, scrappy team

Nice to Have

Experience working within or alongside a creative team in a DTC brand setting

Familiarity with Shopify or DTC-specific analytics tools

Exposure to multi-channel marketing beyond digital (events, experiential, etc.)

Basic design skills or experience with tools like Figma or Canva
