Job description

Life's too short not to lead someplace awesome.

Are you a natural leader who lights up around kids, takes pride in running a tight ship, and wants ownership over building something special?

We are looking for a Gym Director to be the heart, engine, and face of our location. This is the top in-gym leadership role — you'll set the tone for your team, the experience for our families, and the growth of the business.

About Us

With more than 300 locations across the globe, we are the world's premier enrichment and physical development center for kids 4 months through 12 years.

For over four decades, we've helped millions of kids experience the thrill of achievement, develop new skills, and find new confidence through gymnastics-based programs. Parent/Child, Pre-K, and Grade School classes are taught in a clean, fun, safe, and nurturing environment where children develop at their own pace. We're a growing, locally-owned group of Atlanta-area locations — which means real opportunity to grow with us.

The Role

The Gym Director is a full-time, career-level position responsible for the overall success of the location — its people, its programs, its members, and its growth. You'll report directly to ownership and run the day-to-day with a high degree of autonomy. The best person for this job loves being on the floor teaching great classes and loves the leadership work of building a team, hitting goals, and creating an experience families rave about.

What You'll Own

Lead the Team (and the Culture)

  • Hire, train, schedule, and develop a team of instructors and front-desk staff
  • Coach your team to deliver consistently excellent classes and standout customer service
  • Set the energy and standards — you're the example everyone follows

Deliver an Amazing Experience

  • Teach great classes yourself across our age groups and curriculum
  • Ensure every class, party, and interaction meets our high standards
  • Build genuine relationships with member families that drive loyalty and retention

Run the Business

  • Own day-to-day operations and keep the gym running smoothly
  • Drive membership growth — convert prospects, retain members, and grow enrollment
  • Hit location performance goals and partner with ownership on strategy
  • Maintain a clean, safe, well-equipped facility

You'll Thrive Here If You Have:

  • Leadership/management experience — you've led a team and are accountable for results (essential)
  • Customer service or sales experience, ideally in a membership, hospitality, fitness, or kids' activity setting
  • Strong organization and time-management skills; you juggle people, schedules, and priorities well
  • Excellent communication with kids, parents, and staff alike
  • A genuine love of working with children and a willingness to be silly, energetic, and hands-on
  • A background in child development, physical education, gymnastics, or early childhood (a plus, not required — we'll train you on our method)

Compensation & Details

  • Compensation: $60,000 base + performance bonus
  • Full-time, career-level position
  • Benefits: Health insurance / professional development / opportunities for advancement
  • Schedule includes some evenings and weekends based on class and event demand
  • In person

As part of our team, you'll join a family dedicated to the growth and development of children. If you're ready to lead, grow, and make a real difference, we've been waiting for you!

Compensation: $60,000.00 per year, with bonus opportunity via membership growth & business profitability.

Benefits:

  • Bonus based on performance
  • Dental insurance
  • Health insurance
  • Opportunity for advancement
  • Paid time off
  • Parental leave
