Hotel Partnerships & Group Accommodations Associate
Hotel Partnerships & Group Accommodations Associate
Our Client - Hospitality company
- Remote
Job description
The client is expanding into a new hotel and group accommodations line of business tied to large-scale events and destination travel. We are seeking an experienced hotel and group travel professional to help build and scale this business from the ground up.
This role is ideal for someone with prior experience as a corporate hotel facilitator, group accommodations manager, or travel agent who has negotiated and managed large hotel blocks across multiple markets. This position will work with and report to the CEO directly, and play a key role in designing, executing, and scaling this new line of business together.
This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial role for someone who understands the hotel ecosystem deeply and wants to help build something meaningful rather than step into a fully formed department.
This position can start part-time and hours can be flexible. The hope is that this will develop into a full time position, but that is not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
Hotel Sourcing & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain relationships with individual hotels, hotel management companies, and ownership groups
- Develop strong working relationships with national hotel sales representatives and brand-level contacts
- Cultivate local hotel relationships in key destination markets
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the client and hotel partners
- Identify new markets, destinations, and events where hotel inventory is strategically valuable
Hotel Block Strategy & Negotiation
- Source, structure, and negotiate hotel room blocks across multiple markets and event types
- Negotiate competitive rates and favorable contract terms
- Manage and understand block mechanics including cutoff dates, release schedules, stay patterns, and attrition clauses
- Evaluate rebate and commission structures
Qualifications:
- 4–7+ years of experience in large-scale hotel block management (hotel group sales, corporate travel, travel agency)
All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be legally authorized to work in the United States and are required to have U.S. residency at the time of application.
