We are seeking a HR Generalist on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs. This role is 100% remote.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and programs
- Partner with managers on employee relations, performance management, attendance, corrective actions, and team dynamics
- Coach managers through complex employee situations, including performance documentation and Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs)
- Apply HR policies consistently and escalate complex issues to HR Business Partners as appropriate
- Deliver responsive HR support while ensuring efficient execution of HR processes
- Coordinate annual HR programs, including performance reviews, compensation reviews, talent calibrations, and engagement surveys
- Execute HR lifecycle activities, including career architecture updates, internal transfers, promotions, onboarding support, leave of absence support, and offboarding
- Maintain HRIS data integrity by auditing organizational and career architecture changes
- Support implementation of business-specific HR initiatives, engagement activities, organizational changes, and workforce reductions
- Analyze employee data, including turnover and exit interviews, and recommend process improvements
- Partner with Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Compensation, Payroll, and Benefits teams to resolve operational issues
- Participate in HR process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
- Manage employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation
- Conduct and support internal investigations, document findings, assess risk, and provide recommendations
- Support compliance with employment laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Assist with HR audits, reporting, and documentation requests
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience supporting professional or corporate workforces
- Experience handling employee relations matters, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations
- Strong knowledge of employment law principles and HR best practices
- Experience working with HRIS systems
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion or a similar enterprise HRIS
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated AI literacy and experience using AI tools to improve productivity
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting hybrid, global, or geographically dispersed teams
- Experience with year-end compensation processes, role grading, job evaluation, and career architecture
- Experience supporting employee communications and organizational change management
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality
- Strong collaboration, business acumen, and cross-cultural communication skills
- Adaptability and ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP)
- Experience supporting global HR initiatives
- Experience partnering with global HR teams and interpreting global HR policies
