We are seeking an HR Service Desk Analyst on a contract basis for the delivery of day-to-day HR activities to employees, Supervisors, and Managers, ensuring that the company upholds best practices and remains legally compliant. This role is 100% remote.
This role plays a key part in ensuring legal compliance, best practice adherence, and a positive employee experience. Works closely with HR Business Partners and leaders to foster a cohesive and productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Act as primary support for managing People Operations tickets (e.g., manager and job detail changes in Workday)
- Conduct internal mobility eligibility checks for employees applying to internal roles (initially)
- Follow and enforce department-specific HR policies and respond to related inquiries
- Provide ad-hoc support to HR Directors and HR Business Partners during key annual cycles (e.g., performance reviews, compensation planning)
- Support the adoption of Workday self-service by guiding managers and answering related questions
- Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion while handling sensitive business and employee information
- Build foundational HR experience with opportunities for career advancement
- Directly contribute to improving the employee experience for both exempt and non-exempt populations
- Collaborate with experienced HR professionals and leadership in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
- Gain exposure to various HR centers of excellence
- Strengthen Workday knowledge through high-volume employee support tasks
- Use emerging tools and AI capabilities within the HR function
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a professional setting, preferably within HR
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, etc.)
- Familiarity with Workday or similar HRIS platforms
- Strong interest in HR and technology-driven environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong sense of urgency
- Commitment to delivering a top-tier “customer” experience
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs
- Self-starter with curiosity, initiative, and a drive for continuous improvement
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
- Demonstrated sound judgment and ability to work independently
