Job description

Our Customer is a technology company that connects people with the best of their neighborhoods across the US, Canada, Australia, Japan, and Germany. They enable local businesses to meet consumers’ needs of ease and convenience, and, in turn, generate new ways for people to earn, work, and live. By building the last-mile logistics infrastructure for local commerce, they’re fulfilling their mission to grow and empower local economies.

We are seeking an HR Service Desk Analyst on a contract basis to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote.

The HR Service Desk Analyst is responsible for supporting employees, supervisors, and managers with day-to-day HR activities, ensuring compliance with policies and legal requirements while enhancing the overall employee experience. This role partners closely with HRBPs and business leaders to foster a positive and cohesive work environment and team culture. It is an excellent opportunity for early-career HR professionals seeking to expand their knowledge of HR processes, systems, and technology in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary support for submitting and tracking People Operations tickets (e.g., manager/job detail changes in Workday).
  • Perform internal mobility eligibility checks for employees applying for roles (until process transitions to Employee Relations).
  • Provide guidance on department-level policies, processes, and procedures to employees and managers.
  • Support HR Directors and HR Business Partners with ad-hoc requests during key cycles (e.g., performance reviews, compensation planning).
  • Assist managers in learning and adopting direct Workday access, providing additional support as needed.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion with all employee and business-related information.
  • Enhance HR operations by leveraging tooling and AI capabilities to improve support efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience, preferably in Human Resources.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Google Suite.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday HRIS.
  • Strong interest in developing a career in HR and technology.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a passion for creating positive employee experiences.
  • High level of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive data.

We offer a competitive salary range for this position. Most candidates who join our team are hired at the median of this range, ensuring fair and equitable compensation based on experience and qualifications.

Contractor benefits are available through our 3rd Party Employer of Record (Available upon completion of waiting period for eligible engagements)

Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k.
