Job Description

We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner on a contract basis to support our client. This role is 100% remote and will support an Engineering organization as a temporary backfill for parental leave.


Responsibilities
  • Provide tactical HR consultation and support to a wide variety of leaders, including frontline managers and senior managers.
  • Partner with leaders on performance management and employee relations matters.
  • Support staffing, compensation, benefits, training, and other HR processes.
  • Provide strong documentation and knowledge transfer across HR activities and processes.
  • Identify issues, solve problems, and provide practical HR solutions to business leaders.
  • Partner with other HR functions as needed to support business needs.
  • Support or conduct talent reviews and other talent management activities when needed.
  • Handle sensitive employee matters with discretion and sound judgment.
Qualifications
  • Solid HR practitioner experience working with a wide variety of leaders, including frontline and senior managers.
  • Experience with Workday, Google Suite, and Slack.
  • Hands-on experience with performance management and employee relations.
  • Strong documentation and knowledge transfer skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong discretion and judgment when handling sensitive employee matters.
  • Self-directed, tactical “do-er” who can execute and manage priorities effectively.
  • Experience with talent reviews is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
Additional Details
  • Location: 100% Remote – candidates can be located anywhere in the U.S.
  • Hours: Primarily aligned with West Coast business hours. East Coast candidates may need to work a later schedule, such as 10:00 AM–7:00 PM ET, to support business needs.
  • Interview Process: Three interviews - Hiring Manager, Hiring Manager's Leader, and Director.
