Contract Work- Potential for Extension
The Mom Project is partnering with a growing, multidisciplinary therapy and behavioral health organization to find an experienced HR Consultant who will help strengthen and develop its HR function during an exciting period of growth.
For more than 20 years, the organization has provided comprehensive, collaborative therapy services to children and adults, helping individuals and families reach their full potential. By bringing physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and behavioral health services together under one roof, the organization creates an integrated care experience for the individuals and families it serves. Its priority is to collaboratively enhance, educate, and empower the people and families in its care.
After more than two decades of serving the community, the organization is entering an exciting new chapter. With tremendous growth and plans to move into a significantly larger, updated space within the next month, there is an opportunity to strengthen and develop its HR function. That's where you come in.
We are looking for an experienced HR Consultant who enjoys being hands-on, solving problems, working closely with leadership and employees, and helping an organization build thoughtful and effective HR practices as it grows. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to do more than maintain HR processes. You'll have the opportunity to help shape how HR supports the organization's next stage of growth.
About the Role
The HR Consultant will serve as a key resource for leadership and employees and will be responsible for a broad range of HR functions, with particular emphasis on employee relations, employment law, HR systems, compliance, and the development of effective HR processes.
We're looking for someone who is knowledgeable, approachable, practical, and confident. Someone employees feel comfortable coming to and leadership can trust for sound HR guidance. You should be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and handling both day-to-day HR needs and the bigger-picture projects that come with a growing organization.
The right person will be able to balance employee advocacy with sound business judgment, understand when an issue requires careful investigation or legal guidance, and communicate complex HR matters in a clear and practical way.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who wants to be part of something that is growing. This organization is looking for someone who can help build the next chapter of its HR function.
If you are an experienced HR professional who is excited by the opportunity to help a growing organization strengthen its people practices and build for the future, we'd love to hear from you.
