Job description
Join our team to work remotely while shaping our growing medspa platform and building HR systems from the ground up, with a clear path into a larger leadership role as we scale.
Core Responsibilities
- HR Operations & Compliance - Maintain HR systems, employee records, policies, and handbook while ensuring compliance with employment laws and tracking required staff credentials.
- Hiring & Onboarding - Oversee recruiting, screening, offers, and onboarding to ensure smooth hiring and proper documentation for all roles.
- Employee Lifecycle Management - Oversee employee status changes, promotions, transfers, and exits while maintaining accurate documentation and supporting retention.
- Performance Management - Design and run performance review processes, coach managers on feedback and discipline, and support improvement plans.
- Compensation & Benefits - Oversee payroll provider and benefits administration.
- Leadership Support - Provide ongoing HR guidance, create templates and SOPs, and help scale HR practices as the medspa business grows.
Qualifications/Skills
- 7–15+ years HR experience (Generalist or HR Manager level).
- Experience supporting small businesses.
- Multi-location workforce experience preferred.
- Healthcare, medspa, or regulated industry experience strongly preferred, with exposure working with clinical staff.
- Experiences with employee lifecycle management, performance review and disciplinary process design.
- Experience with handbook development, payroll/benefits coordination, and compensation structures.
- Calm handling of sensitive employee issues.
- Practical, business-minded decision making.
- Strong documentation habits.
- Clear communicator with managers and owners.
- Able to work independently as a fractional partner.
