***Please note that our customer is currently seeking candidates who can work onsite 5 days per week***


Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.


We are seeking a Human Resources (I-9) Representative on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is on-site in Sunnyvale, CA.



Responsibilities:

  • Review existing I-9 records to identify employees with expiring or expired work authorizations requiring reverification.
  • Coordinate and conduct I-9 reverification processes with employees and HR staff to collect updated documentation promptly.
  • Audit reverification documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal regulations.
  • Maintain secure, organized records of all reverification activities.
  • Communicate clearly with employees and managers regarding reverification timelines, requirements, and next steps.
  • Collaborate with HR Compliance and Legal teams to resolve issues or discrepancies identified during the reverification process.
  • Recommend improvements to reverification workflows, templates, and tracking tools to support ongoing compliance.
  • Stay current with legal and regulatory changes related to I-9 and employment authorization documentation.
  • Provide updates and training materials to HR staff on reverification best practices as needed.
  • Compile a post-project summary including findings, lessons learned, and recommendations for future reverification management.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-4 years of Human Resources experience.
  • Strong understanding of Form I-9 requirements, E-Verify processes, and work authorization reverification.
  • Experience supporting or conducting I-9 audits or reverification initiatives.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage confidential information and work efficiently under deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordinating and explaining reverification procedures.


Preferred:

  • Additional experience supporting or conducting I-9 audits or reverification projects.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Experience using Workday.
