Job description
Our Customer is a consumer financial services company headquartered in Connecticut. The company offers consumer financing products, including credit, promotional financing and loyalty programs, installment lending to industries, and FDIC-insured consumer savings products through the consumer bank, its wholly owned online bank subsidiary.
We are seeking an Identity Security Analyst on a contract basis to support our customer's ongoing business needs. This role is 100% remote in EST hours.
This role will be part of a growing team that drives Identity Security hygiene for the organization, through analysis of issues reported in Identity Security Posture Management (ISPM) tools. This position will report to the Identity Security Platforms leader, operating within the broader IAM and InfoSec organizations.
Responsibilities:
- Triage, analyze, and respond to identity hygiene issues and defects identified in ISPM platforms
- Partner with assurance and technical teams to identify remediation paths for confirmed defects
- Configure ISPM tool data sources and integrations to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Develop repeatable operational processes aligned with corporate standards and controls
- Apply technical expertise and industry insights to enhance Identity Security Services capabilities
- Collaborate with application architects, engineers, product teams, information security, and risk management teams to resolve issues and improve practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated production issues across identity-related systems
- Document processes and contribute to special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Business Management, or related field with 5 years of IT experience; OR High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of IT experience
- 2+ years of experience working with identity or security tools
Preferred:
- 3+ years of experience in information security, specializing in Identity & Access Management, Infrastructure Security, or similar areas
- Experience in large, highly regulated enterprises
- Experience working in agile-driven product and operations teams
- Hands-on experience with ISPM and ITDR solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike IdP, Okta ISPM), or equivalent posture management/detection & response tools
- Practical knowledge across identity functions, including Active Directory, Entra ID administration, authentication, authorization, privilege management, and secrets management
- Cloud technology experience (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns or correlations in data sets
- Knowledge of security standards such as PII, PCI, and cybersecurity governance requirements
- Familiarity with IT risk management policies and cyber defense frameworks
- Industry-recognized certifications (preferred)
