Job description
Our Customer is a mission-driven not-for-profit organization that connects students to college success and opportunity. Founded in 1900, they were created to expand access to higher education. Each year, our Customer helps more than seven million students prepare for a successful transition to college through programs and services in college readiness and college success—including the SAT, the Advanced Placement Program, and BigFuture. The organization also serves the education community through research and advocacy on behalf of students, educators, and schools.
We are seeking an Implementation Project Manager on a contract basis to lead and coordinate internal responsibilities for the Tealium CDP implementation. This role will serve as the primary point of contact between internal stakeholders and Tealium, ensuring project scope, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables are met across multiple teams.
The Project Manager will play a critical role in driving execution, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring the timely completion of organization-owned tasks required for project success.
This role is 100% remote.
Responsibilities:
Project Leadership & Coordination:
- Serve as the primary internal point of contact for the Tealium implementation project
- Drive the definition and alignment of project use cases, business requirements, and success criteria
- Own delivery of the organization’s scope as outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW)
- Coordinate across technical, marketing, data, and business stakeholders
Project Management & Execution:
- Lead internal participation in project kickoff, recurring weekly status meetings, working sessions, and project closeout
- Track milestones, dependencies, risks, and action items
- Ensure timely completion of all organization-owned tasks and deliverables
- Manage internal schedules and resource availability to support the project timeline
Stakeholder Management:
- Facilitate collaboration between internal teams and Tealium project resources
- Ensure appropriate technical and business resources attend required meetings and working sessions
- Communicate status updates, risks, and decisions clearly to internal stakeholders
Requirements & Readiness:
- Coordinate provision of:
- Access to test and staging environments
- Required documentation, data samples, and configuration details
- Sample file imports and connector requirements
- Ensure internal teams are prepared for data layer discussions, validation activities, and integrations
Quality & Delivery Assurance:
- Support validation of data collection, enrichment, and integrations
- Ensure internal teams review and sign off on project outcomes
- Help manage scope changes and support any required change order discussions
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in digital, data, marketing technology, or SaaS environments
- Proven experience leading cross-functional technical projects
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with customer data platform implementations
- Experience working with analytics, martech, or tagging and implementation projects
- Familiarity with platforms such as Tealium, Adobe, Salesforce, or similar technologies
Preferred:
- Project management certifications such as PMP, Agile, or equivalent
