What You'll Do

  1. Create raving fans by cultivating meaningful relationships with clients and team members.
  2. Develop, execute, and analyze clients’ SEO and content marketing campaigns.
  3. Collaborate with the WebStrategies internal Inbound Team through asynchronous and synchronous communication.
  4. Develop and maintain deliverables and processes to generate results for our clients.
  5. Bring innovative ideas to the team and clients.
  6. Execute SEO and content tasks, including:
  7. SEO & content research and strategy development
  8. Competitor and SERP analysis
  9. Onsite SEO implementation
  10. Site structure/internal link audits
  11. Local SEO strategy and execution
  12. Keyword and content topic research
  13. Link building strategy and execution
  14. Technical site auditing
  15. Schema development and implementation
  16. Review management and acquisition
  17. CRO setup, analysis, and testing
  18. Building and optimizing content plans for various industries, with a bonus for financial industry or B2B (industrial services/manufacturing) knowledge
  19. Writing and editing content for web pages, blog posts, emails, and more (or collaborating with writers to execute this)
  20. Travel at least twice annually for our in-person retreats (currently in Richmond, VA).

Qualifications

  1. 2-4 years of hands-on experience in SEO and content marketing strategy execution.
  2. Experience with Google Analytics or other web analytics platforms.
  3. Proficiency in SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, SEMRush, Ahrefs, SkyFu, Moz, and Searchmetrics.
  4. Experience writing content for all stages of the buyer’s journey or managing writers.
  5. Ability to analyze data to drive recommendations and decisions.
  6. Strong written and verbal communication skills with highly developed interpersonal skills.
  7. High EQ (emotional intelligence) and strong organizational skills.
  8. Bonus skills:
  9. Experience implementing site schema.
  10. Knowledge of JS, HTML, CSS, or other coding languages.
  11. Experience with review acquisition campaigns.
  12. Experience with link-building outreach and acquisition.
  13. Experience with video and/or YouTube SEO.
  14. Experience with Local SEO and Google Business Profile.
  15. Experience working with B2B or financial industries.
  16. Experience with HubSpot.
  17. Must be based in the United States.

Compensation

  1. Base Salary: $60,000 - $65,000/year
  2. Additional Bonus Opportunities: $5,600 - $9,000/year
  3. Total Earning Potential: $65,600 - $74,000/year
