Our Customer is a corporation that develops, manufactures, and markets robotic products designed to improve clinical outcomes of patients through minimally invasive surgery. Founded in 1995, their goal was to create innovative, robotic-assisted systems that help empower doctors and hospitals to make surgery less invasive than an open approach. Working with the top medical professionals, they continue to develop new, minimally invasive surgical platforms and future diagnostic tools to help solve complex healthcare challenges around the world.
We are seeking a Sr Windows Systems Administrator - Virtualization & Storage on a contract basis to support our Customer's business needs. This role is on-site in Sunnyvale, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Windows OS and Applications
- Day-to-day operations in the On-prem and Azure Cloud environments
- Perform scheduled maintenance and updates, including patching and replacement
- Build infrastructure for applications using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
- Write deployment scripts, debug application issues, and evaluate new technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience
- Strong Systems Administration experience in a Windows environment that includes Active Directory, GPO configuration, and Client systems support
- Experience in managing NetApp Storage product Management/Administration.
Preferred:
- Experience with administering and troubleshooting blade and rackmount servers
- Experience with Hypervisor technologies and virtual machine administration (VMware)
- Proficiency in administering the Active Directory domains
- PowerShell and Python scripting experience
