Position Summary:

This exciting opportunity lends itself to being part of the leading worldwide vendor for RFID contactless card readers managing all inside sales activities across the entire rf IDEAS product line while supporting our customers on a global basis. Detail work is a major focus of the job, as is maintaining and growing relationships. The Inside Sales Account Manager plays a critical role to the success of the business, as you’re the first line interaction with the customer.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Field all incoming phone calls directed to the sales desk
- Respond to all email inquiries
- Manage outbound campaigns in conjunction with marketing to achieve new sales
- Manage interactions between the sales managers and the channel resellers
- Achieve assigned quota based on personalized SIP (Sales Incentive Plan)
Primary Objectives:
- Respond to all sales inquiries in a timely and thorough manner
- Delight customers by upholding rf IDEAS’ superior customer satisfaction standards through impeccable service delivery
- Create a pipeline of sales opportunities for follow-up by the Territory Manager
- Assist with tradeshow follow-up and lead generation
Specific Responsibilities:
· Input all new customers into database and categorize them accurately to specific company parameters
· Log all communications with new and existing customers into contact management system
· Perform technical needs assessment with customers, select product fit, match to proper price level and prepare a sales quotation
· Perform lead hand-off to proper distribution and channel partners when integration and 3rd party software services are required
· Evaluate non-domestic inquiries, log such inquiries and provide proper lead hand-off to distribution partner handling that geography
· Provide sales support to senior sales team and their key accounts as required
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
Distribution sales and channel management experience is required.
Preferred:
A working knowledge of radio frequency (RFID) technology, along with access control using RFID technology, various ID badge formats and reader types is a plus. Broad knowledge and experience with the following applications is preferred: SSO (single sign on), MFP (multifunction printing), time-locking and industrial automation.
Education and Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or equivalent, plus 4-7 years’ experience in a similar role
