Job description

Title: Instructional Designer & Creative Writer for Training in Life Sciences Industry
Location: 100% Remote
Hourly Range: $75 - $150/hr, commensurate with experience
Status: ~ 10 hrs/wk (may flex based on client needs), 3 months to start
Ideal Candidate: has experience writing complete training programs in the Life Sciences Industries

Our client's primary focus is leader and people development in the life science industry. In this role, you will play a key part in developing creative, engaging and immersive training workshops and program ideas for our clients. You will leverage your instructional design expertise and creative writing skills to create learning experiences that promote knowledge retention, skill development, and improved job performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to analyze training needs, identify learning objectives, and develop comprehensive workshop content.
  • Design and write creative, engaging training materials, including workshops, Facilitator Guides, handouts, activities, and knowledge checks.
  • Leveragee adult learning principles and incorporate instructional design best practices to create interactive learning experiences.
  • Select and integrate appropriate multimedia elements (e.g., Storylines, Articulates, videos, simulations, etc.) to enhance the learning experience.
  • Develop and implement evaluation strategies to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and innovations in instructional design and adult learning methodologies.
