Job description
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Initial Client Engagement and Assessment
Conduct comprehensive assessments to gather essential information about clients’ needs, eligibility, and service requirements.
Serve as the first point of contact, providing a welcoming and informative introduction to The Arc’s services.
Information and Referral Services
Offer detailed information about The Arc’s programs and services to clients, families, and external agencies.
Provide referrals to appropriate community resources and support services as needed.
Documentation and Record-Keeping
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in spreadsheets and databases, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with organizational policies.
Coordinate the intake process from initial referral to completion, preparing and maintaining required documentation pertaining to intake and referral.
Collaboration and Communication
Work collaboratively with program managers and other staff to ensure a smooth intake process and transition into services.
Participate in outreach activities, collecting data, and working with leadership to achieve strategic goals.
Administrative Support
Assist with day-to-day activities of the program, including scheduling screenings, mailing screeners, and explaining processes to families.
Provide administrative support for the program, including data entry and maintaining accurate records.
