We are seeking an Data & API Support Engineer on a contract basis to support the Restaurant Integrations function by certifying, launching, and maintaining third-party partner integrations. This role involves technical validation, configuration, partner support, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure smooth and scalable integration processes. This role is 100% remote.



Responsibilities:

  • Conduct live and offline reviews of third-party integrations built using internal APIs
  • Evaluate technical compliance of integrations and provide clear, documented feedback to partners
  • Configure runtime variables and internal system settings for certified integrations to prepare for launch
  • Collaborate with team members to update and scale the integration certification process
  • Train future team members on the certification and review process
  • Triage technical issues raised by external partners or escalated by internal support teams
  • Manage support tickets, troubleshoot integration issues, and provide resolutions
  • Support integration maintenance by aggregating integration data, completing data entry, and writing technical documentation
  • Contribute to other projects or tasks as assigned, supporting partner success and technical excellence

Looking for a detail-oriented API and Data Integration Specialist to certify, launch, and support third-party integrations using internal APIs, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure smooth partner onboarding and maintenance.


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of professional experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience working with large data sets to diagnose technical issues
  • Experience with APIs and software integrations
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Familiarity with Jira or other issue tracking systems
  • Experience with technical documentation or writing
  • Strong background in client-facing roles, resolving technical and business-related inquiries
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable engaging with both technical (e.g., engineers, product managers) and non-technical stakeholders (e.g., business leaders)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and shift priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic proficiency with GitHub or similar development tools (no coding required)
