Intellectual Property Attorney
Our Client - Legal company
- Remote
Job description
Intellectual Property Attorney (Senior / Of Counsel)
Full-Time | 100% Remote (U.S.-based)
If you’re an experienced IP attorney who enjoys working closely with brands and being a true strategic partner (not just a back-end reviewer), this could be a great fit.
Our client is a boutique, fully remote law firm based in Southern California that partners with clients across CPG, apparel, and footwear. They’re looking to bring on a Senior / Of Counsel attorney who can take ownership of sophisticated brand and IP matters while working in a collaborative, low-ego environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading the drafting and negotiation of complex agreements, including:
- Brand licensing deals
- Celebrity and influencer endorsements
- Co-branding and collaboration partnerships
- Advising clients on how to protect, grow, and commercialize their brands
- Acting as a trusted advisor to founders and business teams—not just legal support
- Managing multiple client relationships in a fully remote setting
What They’re Looking For
- 5–7+ years of experience in intellectual property and commercial transactions
- Strong background in brand licensing and drafting complex agreements end-to-end
- Ability to work independently while staying highly responsive and collaborative
- Active bar membership in good standing (any U.S. state)
Nice to Have (but not required)
- Experience working with consumer brands (CPG, apparel, footwear)
- Exposure to influencer, celebrity, or marketing-related agreements
- Familiarity with advertising, digital media, or food & beverage industries
What Makes This Opportunity Different
- Fully remote, genuinely flexible work environment
- Direct client interaction and strategic involvement (not siloed work)
- A small, tight-knit team that values autonomy and trust
- High-quality, brand-focused work without the bureaucracy of a large firm
This is a strong fit for a senior attorney who wants to stay close to the business side of IP law, do interesting deal work, and be part of a firm where your voice and expertise actually matter.
