Job description

Part-Time Internal Recruiter (Talent Acquisition) | 10 to 20 Hours/Week | Staffing Firm

Wheaton, IL · Part-Time · Hybrid (Mostly Remote)

$33 to $38/Hour | Flexible Schedule

The Mom Project is partnering with a growing organization to find an Internal Recruiter (Talent Acquisition) who understands the potential of people and knows how to recognize talent beyond what’s on a resume.

Your kids come first. We get that. Ours do too.

Make a meaningful impact in a role where you can build careers, shape a growing team, and still make time for the things that matter most. In this role, you’ll take ownership of the company’s internal recruiting efforts, with a primary focus on entry-level recruiting and sales talent. You understand what it takes for someone to succeed in these roles and know how to recognize potential, motivation, and drive. Often, the best candidates aren't the ones with the most impressive resumes, but the ones who shine in a conversation.

You'll also lead an established college recruiting program, building campus relationships and connecting with emerging talent. This is an opportunity to make a real difference in people's careers while enjoying the flexibility to be present for your own family.

If you're an experienced recruiter who loves developing talent, building relationships, and creating opportunities for others, we'd love to connect!

Core Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all internal recruiting efforts, with a primary focus on entry-level recruiting and sales positions.
  • Take ownership of the established college recruiting program, including developing campus partnerships, coordinating career fairs, and building a pipeline of emerging talent.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, including sourcing, conducting phone screens and in-office interviews, and partnering with hiring managers through the offer stage.
  • Identify candidates with the potential, personality, and drive to succeed, even when their experience may not tell the whole story.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates to ensure a positive and engaging recruiting experience.
Qualifications & Skills
  • 5+ years of recruiting experience, including experience within the staffing industry.
  • Proven success recruiting entry-level sales professionals or recruiting talent.
  • Previous college or campus recruiting experience.
  • Strong ability to identify potential, assess candidates, and recognize the qualities that lead to success.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to conduct in-office candidate interviews and attend occasional full-day campus recruiting events.
Company Benefits & Perks
  • Flexible schedule designed to support your family and work-life balance.
  • Mostly remote work environment, with occasional in-office days for candidate interviews and team collaboration.
  • Employee Assistance Program.
  • Fully equipped on-site gym with showers.
  • Convenient downtown Wheaton location, just steps from the Metra and some of the area's best restaurants and coffee shops.

A career where you can make an impact at work without missing what matters most at home.

All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be legally authorized to work in the United States and are required to have U.S. residency at the time of application.
