Job description

The Mom Project is honored to partner with our client in their search for an International Tax Senior Consultant.

This is a short-term assignment on a W2 basis.


Responsibilities:

  • Working with other professionals within a National Tax Services team; working with tax professionals domestically and internationally
  • Building awareness, understanding of jurisdictional rules, and filing requirements
  • Providing tax consulting and compliance in a professional environment for the effective diagnosis, solution, development, and implementation of tax solutions
  • Helping draft and assisting in the delivery of client projects; using quantitative analysis to solve issues that arise
  • Responding to client inquiries and requests from tax authorities
  • Assisting with US tax reporting for international transactions, including new provisions resulting from Tax Reform, e.g., GILTI, FDII, BEAT, Section 163(j) interest limitation, Section 199A, and the interplay with privately held taxpayers
  • Assisting in providing IC-DISC administration


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Minimum of 2 years of business tax experience
  • Experience with ASC 740
  • Consulting and compliance experience


Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPA license
  • Experience with IC-DISCs
  • Experience with GoSystem Tax RS and Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE
  • International tax experience
