Job description
We are an M&A advisory firm that helps entrepreneurs in the education and healthcare sectors buy and sell companies. We are a mission-driven boutique investment bank focused on supporting founders and CEOs through critical moments of growth and transition.
We are seeking experienced professionals for a flexible, fractional Associate role supporting live M&A engagements.
This role is ideal for individuals looking to stay close to deals, build transaction experience, or apply their skills in a more flexible, part-time capacity.
What you can expect
As a fractional Associate, you will lead high-impact M&A work, managing critical client engagements across both buy-side and sell-side mandates.
You will:
- Lead diligence calls (typically 30 minutes) with founders and C-suite executives of target companies
- Synthesize insights from calls into clear, structured takeaways and recommendations for clients
- Guide Analysts through the target sourcing process, including refining target criteria, providing feedback, and approving targets
- Lead internal and client meetings related to diligence, synthesis, and recommendations
This role offers direct exposure to CEOs and real-time deal work, with the opportunity to contribute meaningfully from day one.
Candidate Qualifications
We are intentionally casting a wide net and welcome candidates from a variety of backgrounds. Strong candidates will typically have 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
- Consulting, investment banking, or corporate development
- Operating roles in education or healthcare organizations
- Startup or founder experience
- Business development, partnerships, or sales roles with exposure to senior stakeholders
You may be a strong fit if you:
- Are comfortable leading conversations with senior executives
- Can quickly synthesize information and form structured perspectives
- Have experience working in teams and mentoring or guiding others, including in remote environments
- Are looking for flexible, part-time work while staying engaged in meaningful, high-impact projects
