We are seeking an IT Business Analyst on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is 100% remote.
The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will support a major enterprise-wide ERP consolidation initiative within a multi-brand division. Eight brands are migrating to a unified ERP platform, and this role will contribute to both the core ERP migration and multiple related spin-off projects.
In addition to supporting the primary ERP implementation, this position will assist with dependent initiatives, including data structure updates, data mapping, dataset creation, and validation efforts.
This is a hands-on role with significant responsibility in the following areas:
- Validating and refining business and system requirements
- Supporting system configuration activities
- Performing data mapping and data structure analysis
- Coordinating and supporting testing efforts (including UAT)
- Collaborating cross-functionally with business, technical, and project stakeholders
The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capabilities, experience in ERP implementations, and the ability to operate effectively in a complex, multi-workstream environment.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST. Candidates may reside in other time zones but must be available to work Eastern Time hours as required.
Responsibilities:
- Validate and review existing business requirements, including documentation created in prior project phases
- Support implementation efforts for ERP, PIM/PXM, and related digital platforms
- Assist with the creation and modification of product data structures, mappings, and datasets
- Collaborate with senior BSAs, product owners, architects, developers, product managers, and marketing teams
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews
- Perform hands-on system configuration and testing activities
- Analyze and resolve data-related issues and propose practical, scalable solutions
- Communicate clearly with cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced and evolving project environment
Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in product development-adjacent roles
- Experience within manufacturing, product lifecycle, or product development environments
- Understanding of manufactured product lifecycles, data flows, and supporting digital systems
- Hands-on experience working in at least one major ERP platform such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage X3, or similar
- Experience working with PIM/PXM platforms such as Salsify or comparable systems
- Ability to clearly articulate platform experience and functional contributions
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote
- Experience working in Agile project environments
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements and shifting priorities
- Strong collaboration skills across product, marketing, engineering, and project teams
- Ability to logically negotiate and propose solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using JIRA and Confluence
- Experience working with GS1/UPC management, regulatory data, or product lifecycle data
- Experience managing large datasets or complex digital product catalogs
- Ability to work Eastern Standard Time hours, including early morning meetings when required
