IT Product Owner (Hybrid - CA - Oakland/Dublin/San Ramon)

Our Customer is looking for an IT Product Owner on a contract basis to join their team and lead product development efforts. This role is hybrid (1 day in office day per 3 weeks. If local they can work in the office more often) in one of the following locations: Oakland, CA, Dublin, CA or San Ramon, CA. Would be open to candidates who can travel weekly to be on site as long as they are PST time zone. Will cover the cost of travel.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for defining product vision, managing the IT product backlog, and ensuring the successful delivery of technology-driven solutions.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams to prioritize requirements, create user stories, and guide the development process from concept to release.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong expertise in Agile methodologies
• Jira and IT PM development support Experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and software development are essential for this role
• Computer engineering experience not required but preferred.

• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
• Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO)
• SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (SAFe PO/PM)
• Certified Agile Product Manager and Product Owner (ICP-APO)
• PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
• Product Owner Certification (POC)
