Our Customer is seeking an IT Program Manager on a contract basis to manage the evaluation and implementation of new AI tools, support the internal AI products, and help drive AI fluency across the company. You will also play a key role in supporting the Strategic Priorities Framework, ensuring smooth communication, timely updates, and consistent reporting across high-impact initiatives. This role is on-site in NYC.
Skills and Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience.
- 3-8 years of experience in program management or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience with the systems or processes in the program area you support.
- A strong understanding of how your programs and projects fit into the larger IT organization.
- Adept at identifying and resolving the root causes of operational and quality issues, incorporating operational excellence into project plans.
- Ability to balance business and customer requirements against team capacity.
- Proven ability to proactively solicit feedback to improve your own work and the work of the team.
- A positive example-setter for the team.
- Actively seek opportunities to understand customer needs and provide suggestions to enhance their experience.
Preferred:
- Experience in project managing AI, machine learning, or SaaS implementation projects.
- Hands-on experience with generative AI tools and workflows (e.g., Gemini for Workspace, ChatGPT Enterprise, internal bots).
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and enhance operational excellence.
- Experience building strong relationships and influencing a diverse range of cross-functional partners.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to consolidate complex information into clear, concise updates for stakeholders.
