Job description

With roots dating back to the 1800s, our Customer is a global professional services firm HQ’d in New York City with businesses in insurance brokerage, risk management, reinsurance services, talent management, investment advisory, and management consulting. We are seeking a Digital Experience and Application Development Engineer on a contract basis to support our Customer’s business needs. This role is hybrid (3 days on-site and 2 days remote/week) in NYC.



Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and required resources.
  • Manage project execution to ensure activities are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, project sponsors, and project teams.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet established quality standards and that project processes are followed consistently.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
  • Oversee project closure activities and ensure the successful completion of all deliverables.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5-10 years of project management experience.
  • Experience managing projects through the full project lifecycle.
  • Global project management experience across LATAM, EMEA, and North America.
  • Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Expertise in using project planning and project management tools.
  • Experience managing multiple full project lifecycles, preferably within multinational organizations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience communicating with and presenting to C-level executives.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, self-starter mindset with the ability to ramp up quickly and manage projects with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to lead meetings independently and drive project outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing Finance Systems projects.
  • Experience with Oracle EBS or SAP.
  • Experience with Planview.
  • PMP certification.
