Job description

Our customer is a large United States insurance company that is backed by more than 100 years of experience and provides insurance products and services for businesses and professionals in the United States., Canada and Europe. Headquartered in Chicago, IL, they have more than 20 US locations.


We are seeking a contract IT Security Analyst to support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote.



Responsibilities:

  • Lead architecture reviews for artificial intelligence initiatives
  • Provide oversight and guidance for organizational AI initiatives, projects, and education efforts
  • Manage and maintain AI security technologies and AI security testing programs
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of AI security policies and standards
  • Lead the implementation of AI security platforms and protection controls
  • Collaborate closely with data security, cloud security, and application security teams to align AI protection strategies with enterprise security objectives
  • Assist senior staff in evaluating, developing, implementing, and operating security standards, procedures, and guidelines across multiple platforms and environments
  • Support the review, testing, and implementation of security plans, tools, and control techniques
  • Coordinate and support the reporting and investigation of data security incidents
  • Provide technical guidance to stakeholders during risk assessments and implementation of security controls
  • Perform access control and account administration for critical information resources
  • Act as a liaison to product and engineering teams to support implementation of security technologies
  • Identify and escalate changes impacting information security policies, standards, and procedures


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Up to 2 years of experience in security across multiple platforms, operating systems, networks, and applications
  • Strong understanding of security policy development and governance
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and internal controls related to information technology
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
  • Ability to manage technical security projects through completion
  • Advanced proficiency with productivity and business software tools
  • Proven experience with generative AI security, large language model threat modeling, and prompt injection mitigation
  • Hands-on experience with endpoint security, cloud-native AI platforms, and developer tooling
  • Strong understanding of adversarial AI threats, prompt engineering risks, and model governance
  • Background in cybersecurity engineering, DevSecOps, or AI/ML infrastructure security
