Job description

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Technical Recruiter. In this role, you will scour all available avenues to fill our open IT positions with the best-qualified candidates.

Previous experience recruiting poly-cleared personnel is a plus.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Defining hiring criteria
  • Researching possible candidates on LinkedIn and other social media sites
  • Reaching out to potential hires with information about the positions.
  • The ideal candidate is a strong negotiator with a background in human resources and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Source, screen, and interview candidates for technical positions.
  • Utilize various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks, to attract top talent.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring teams.
  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings as required.
  • Manage candidate communication throughout the recruitment process, providing updates and feedback.

Qualifications

  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Previous experience as a Technical Recruiter or related position
  • Experience conducting interviews and background checks
  • Experience with sourcing tools and techniques
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize projects
