Job description
The Mom Project is excited to partner with our client, Walker Advertising, based in Torrance, CA. They are looking for a Junior Video Editor/Media Manager to join their in-house creative team. As a Junior Video Editor, you will be reporting to the Senior Video Editor, who will mentor, train, and guide you in all fields related to our post-production process. As a Media Manager, you will also log assets, organize, and optimize all our media storage solutions, to provide key personnel quick access to the agency’s assets. You will be joining a performance-driven team and will need your own video editing equipment and Internet access when working from home. This position is freelance to hire.
Key Qualifications:
- Fluent in Spanish.
- DaVinci Resolve editing experience.
- Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects.
- Must have own video editing equipment and Internet access.
- 2 to 4 years of prior experience working as a freelance video editor/media manager.
- Ability to handle multiple projects per week, and dozens of projects per month.
- Take quality notes, document work, and translate team directives into a finalized task.
- A key understanding of the agency revision process — and working through revisions diligently.
- Knowledge of dual sound systems and ability to sync video with audio in Premiere and Resolve.
- Capable of working with assets to generate multiple versions of a spot (different CTAs, telephone numbers, lower thirds).
- Experience working with close captioning and/or subtitles.
