Job description

We are seeking a Knowledge Management Project Manager on a contract basis to act as a crucial link between the KM Program, the stakeholders, and the content team's writers to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality Knowledge Management projects. This involves understanding KM needs, coordinating resources, managing project plans, and guiding the project execution.


This role is 100% remote in the US, CST and PST preferred.



Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with 100+ global stakeholders to identify KM pain points, goals, and program content needs
  • Support prioritization of organizational objectives and strategic initiatives related to knowledge management
  • Consult with internal teams on communication and change management strategies
  • Translate complex technical or operational content into user-friendly, digestible language for a broad employee audience
  • Coordinate with program owners and communications teams to align messaging in terms of tone, timing, and outcomes
  • Develop and maintain scalable KM workstream plans that anticipate, track, and coordinate content requirements across functions
  • Provide ongoing project updates and performance reporting using data analytics tools and dashboards
  • Identify areas for improvement and propose enhancements to content management strategies
  • Lead or participate in workshops, meetings, and training sessions to maintain and promote knowledge management best practices


Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in project or program management within knowledge management, content operations, or a related field
  • 5+ years of total professional experience preferred
  • Master's in Library Science preferred
  • Proven ability to independently execute at both strategic and operational levels
  • Strong project management skills; formal certification is a plus, but not required
  • Experience with content management systems and user editing tools
  • Proficiency in learning and communicating complex workflows, systems, and processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; capable of building relationships across a wide range of teams
  • Comfortable working in dynamic, ambiguous environments with evolving priorities
  • Strong analytical mindset and data interpretation abilities
