Job description

Our Customer is a Silicon Valley-based company that is engaged in researching emerging technologies.


We are seeking a contract Operations Assistant to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is on-site in Mountain View, CA.


This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate or an individual with 1 to 4 years of experience who is organized, has strong attention to detail, and is eager to work with data and AI tools. The candidate must have business-level fluency in both English and Korean due to the global nature of the work. Occasional evening, early morning, and weekend work may be required.



Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to senior staff, including calendar management and travel coordination.
  • Manage expense reporting and expense-related administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate office operations, including ordering office supplies and snacks.
  • Translate routine internal communications, memos, and non-critical business documents between Korean and English.
  • Support social media activities and content coordination.
  • Assist with event coordination and marketing support initiatives.
  • Support venture operations, database management, and quality assurance efforts.
  • Input, verify, and maintain operational, financial, and collaboration-related data within Affinity and other systems.
  • Perform data quality control and validation activities.
  • Support the Venture Operations team with data management, analysis, and process streamlining.
  • Prepare data, reports, and supporting materials for monthly reporting and special projects.
  • Develop presentations and business materials in both Korean and English.
  • Collaborate across teams and time zones to support operational initiatives and reporting needs.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in an operational, analytical, or administrative role, or relevant internship experience.
  • Spoken and written fluency in both Korean and English is required.
  • Strong administrative, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Experience in maintaining and managing large datasets.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, cross-cultural environments.
  • Ability to work across multiple time zones.
  • Strong reliability, diligence, and follow-through.
  • Familiarity with or strong interest in AI productivity tools.
  • Strong curiosity about startups, emerging technologies, and global innovation trends.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Affinity and Airtable.
  • Familiarity with Korean-owned multinational corporations.
  • Experience supporting venture operations, business development, or startup ecosystems.
