Job description

Our Customer is a technology company that connects people with the best of their neighborhoods across the US, Canada, Australia, Japan, and Germany. They enable local businesses to meet consumers’ needs of ease and convenience, and, in turn, generate new ways for people to earn, work, and live. By building the last-mile logistics infrastructure for local commerce, they’re fulfilling our mission to grow and empower local economies.

Our Customer is seeking a Launch Specialist on a contract basis to travel across the country to onboard restaurant merchants and enhance the experience they have throughout their lifecycle on their platform. You'll work cross-functionally between sales, account management, operations, product, and analytics teams to build a delightful experience for their merchants.

This position is partially remote, partially in-office, and largely travel-based, as you will be regularly traveling to merchant sites in your region and across the country.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage directly with merchant restaurants to improve overall experience and satisfaction
  • Develop and execute onboarding strategies to ensure a seamless merchant setup process
  • Conduct hands-on, in-store training for merchant staff on platform usage
  • Create training materials to support merchant adoption and understanding
  • Configure and implement digital ordering and SaaS tools for merchants
  • Identify workflow improvements to drive adoption and increase revenue
  • Travel regularly to merchant locations to support onboarding and operations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support merchant success
  • Adapt quickly to evolving business needs and deliver immediate results
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to business growth

Skills/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in restaurant, bar, hospitality, or customer-facing roles
  • Strong hands-on experience in restaurant or bar management
  • Experience with restaurant openings or high-end hospitality environments
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to execute tasks accurately and on time
  • Ability to train and educate users on systems and processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams
  • Self-starter with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently

Preferred Qualifications

  • Spanish language proficiency

We offer a competitive salary range for this position. Most candidates who join our team are hired at the median of this range, ensuring fair and equitable compensation based on experience and qualifications.
