Job description
The Mom Project is excited to partner is excited to partner with our client, who is the leading EdTech company that provides tutoring for over 50 school districts nationwide. After 10 years in business, they’ve served over 500K students and delivered 1M+ lessons. They are growing rapidly to help bridge learning gaps caused by the pandemic and support students in need. Their teaching curriculum and high dosage tutoring methodology has been proven to significantly improve test scores.
JOB INFORMATION:
They have partnered with school districts in Los Angeles and are looking to hire IN-PERSON tutors who can assist students with English and Math during after school hours. You will be working with students of all ages between K-8th grade. You'll be actively supervising students as you help them catch up from learning gaps developed over the past school year.
You must be comfortable passing an IN-PERSON background check. If you are passionate about helping students in your community, a career in education, or looking for part-time, consistent hours, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
SCHEDULE:
Monday-Friday 17.5-20 hours per week (3.5-4 hours/shift), which will vary throughout 80 different school locations between 1- 6 PM.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Tutoring experience (great at working with kids)
- Emphasis on English and Math for Elementary and Middle school
- College students/Associate degree/Bachelor's degree/Master's degree
- Comfortable working in a classroom setting
- Clear FBI-DOJ background check (provided through us)
- Negative TB Screening
PAY:
Pay ($20 - $24) depending on experience. This is determined at the time of interview.
