Our Customer seeking a contract Legal Researcher and Writer to join their Content Team. . In this role, you will be responsible for the high-quality and agile creation of analytical content for their egal customers. You will leverage your domain expertise in US law, mastery of legal research and writing, including a fluent understanding of AI-assistance in legal research and writing, to produce comprehensive and timely legal analysis and ability to translate complex legal topics into practical guidance. This position requires strong project management skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders, including content strategy, operations, technical, product, and go-to-market partners.
This role is 100% remote.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth legal research and create clear, analytical legal content for professional audiences
- Analyze legislation, case law, regulations, and legal developments to inform new and existing content
- Write high-quality articles and commentaries on current legal and tax-related topics
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, and compliance with legal and editorial standards
- Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline content creation and editorial workflows
- Craft prompts, evaluate AI-generated outputs, and refine content for optimal quality
- Monitor legal trends and advancements in legal technology
- Collaborate with editorial, product, operations, and technical stakeholders to scope, draft, and quality-check content
- Contribute to content strategy and development of innovative legal products
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives focused on process improvement and new product development
Skills and Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree required
- A verifiable citation or link to previously published work within your resume or application.
- Minimum of 2 years of legal practice experience or equivalent
- Strong legal research, analytical, and original writing skills
- Experience integrating AI-assisted tools into legal research and content creation workflows
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional environments
Preferred:
- Experience using legal research platforms
- Experience with AI-assisted legal research tools
- Familiarity with data visualization or analytics tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Hours and Location:
- Monday - Friday
- 9 - 5 schedule based on local time zone
- US based candidates
