We are seeking an experienced contract Attorney Writer (Legal Researcher & Writer) to help support our Customer's business needs. This role is 100% remote.


In this role, you will be responsible for the high-quality and agile creation of analytical content for legal customers. You will leverage your domain expertise in US law, mastery of legal research and writing, including a fluent understanding of AI-assistance in legal research and writing, to produce comprehensive and timely legal analysis and the ability to translate complex legal topics into practical guidance. This position requires strong project management skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders, including content strategy, operations, technical, product, and go-to-market partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth legal research and produce clear, concise, and analytical legal content
  • Analyze legislation, case law, regulations, and legal developments to inform content creation
  • Write articles and commentary on current tax and legal issues for professional audiences
  • Ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, and compliance with legal and editorial standards
  • Leverage AI tools to streamline content development for short- and long-form materials
  • Craft prompts, evaluate AI-generated outputs, and refine results for quality and relevance
  • Monitor legal trends and advancements in legal technology
  • Collaborate with editorial, product, and legal teams to scope, draft, and review content
  • Contribute to content strategy and development of new products and offerings
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives, including process improvements and tool evaluations
  • Support innovation in legal content creation through the adoption of new technologies


Skills and Qualifications:

  • A verifiable cite or link to something previously published within your resume
  • Juris Doctor (JD) required
  • 2+ years of legal practice experience or equivalent
  • Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills
  • Ability to interpret and integrate AI-generated insights into legal content
  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms for drafting and analysis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a team environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with legal research platforms such as Protégé, AI, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with data visualization or analytics tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Experience contributing to legal publications or analytical content development
  • Interest in legal technology and innovation
